Annex III/A 2009For this species, the sale, transport for sale, keeping for sale and the offering for sale of live or dead specimens and of any readily recognisable parts or derivatives of such birds is prohibited unless it has been legally killed or captured or otherwise legally acquired, according to Annex III/A of the EU Bird Directive 2009/147/EC.

Red List status LC 2009This species is least concern and is widespread and abundant according to the red list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.
